Estimate

What missed calls cost your practice

A plain estimate of revenue lost when new patients cannot get through. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. It is not a quote, and it does not use your phone records.

Formula

  1. Missed calls per day = calls per day × (percent missed ÷ 100)
  2. New patients missed per day = missed calls per day × (percent of those callers who are new patients ÷ 100)
  3. Lost revenue per day = new patients missed per day × average new-patient value
  4. Lost revenue per month = lost revenue per day × 30
  5. Lost revenue per year = lost revenue per day × 365

Estimate only. This treats every missed new-patient caller as a patient you never book, worth the average value you enter. It does not count callbacks, existing patients, or days the office is closed. If your “calls per day” figure is only for days you are open, the month and year totals will be high.
